Exciting News for Fr. Storey

I wanted to share some exciting news with the UST community. For those of you who haven’t already heard, Father Kevin Storey, CSB has been elected to serve as Superior General for the Congregation of St. Basil.

Fr. Storey currently resides at Keon House here on campus and serves as a Director of the University. He has served as president of St. Thomas High School since 2012. His new role as Superior General will take him north to Toronto, Ontario, site of the Basilian Curial Office.

Those of us who have been fortunate enough to get to know Fr. Storey during his time at UST, know him as a man who possesses a great sense of humor and an infectious smile, matched only by his Christian compassion and dedication to the Basilian mission. Although he will continue to stay involved and play an important part in the future of this great university, his warmth and joyful presence daily on our campus will be sorely missed.

Please join me in keeping Fr. Storey in our prayers as he leads the Congregation of St. Basil into their third century of sharing goodness, discipline and knowledge with the world.
