His appointment reaffirms UST\u2019s commitment to a strong, Catholic, liberal arts core, which seeks to form the whole person as students become highly desirable to employers with real-world skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as former president of Magdalen College of the Liberal Arts in Warner, New Hampshire, since 2011. He shepherded that school to further develop the curriculum and integrated humanities program, recruited nationally recognized faculty, secured accreditation with the New England Commission of Higher Education and extended the college\u2019s national reputation.
