Going Beyond Academic Excellence
Our Strategic Vision Inspires Unprecedented Progress

In the fall of 2021, the University of St. Thomas invited students, staff, faculty, alumni, and board members to come together in prayer and reflection to envision the future of our beloved institution. These in-person workshops, steeped in hope, faith, and determination, laid the foundation for UST’s ambitious strategic vision, aptly titled Greater Things.
University of St. Thomas’ comprehensive vision extends far beyond academic excellence. Greater Things includes a sweeping capital campaign that will not only enhance our academic infrastructure but will transform the physical and spiritual heart of our campus. This campaign will fund the construction of a new student residence hall before moving on to other planned projects such as enhancements to the Ada Mary and Robert Pace Doherty Library, restoring the historic Link-Lee Mansion, and establishing a new prayer grotto. All of these additions will ensure that UST remains a place where students can encounter God both inside and outside the classroom.
As Bob Corrigan, Chairman of the Board, notes, “With Greater Things, the University of St. Thomas is not merely expanding, but evolving into a center for intellectual, ethical, and spiritual growth. The University is committed to growth in disciplines that promote the human spirit and facilitate success due to our Catholic identity.”
